Brandt Metalworks was founded by artist Paul Brandt Lippart.  Paul grew up in Wisconsin and found a passion for tinkering with anything and everything in an effort to find out how things work.  His schooling at Wyotech helped introduce him to a more detailed understanding of mechanics, welding, and painting. In addition, his professional training in welding, fabricating, painting, and pin-striping hotrods and choppers gave him the experience to have a sharp attention to detail. This background guided Paul as he developed his artistic skills. He puts these skills to use as he manipulates upcycled and new materials to create a wide range of sculptures and furniture.

 

Since moving to Colorado in 2011, Paul manages and operates a farm while making art on the side. Paul started making metal art in 2005, and in 2014, Paul founded Brandt Metalworks to take his passion to the next level.  While Brandt Metalworks has pieces in inventory for sale,  Paul happily welcomes  commissions for custom pieces.
